Safeguarding

Our school policies have been designed to ensure that all adults at The Willows are working together to safeguard and promote the well being of all our young people and adults in school.  Our policy describe the systems and arrangements in place to create and maintain a safe learning environment.  It identifies any actions which should be taken to address any welfare concerns about young people and adults in school.  Please take the time to read through our policy. Our Safeguarding Governor is Steve Foster.

The Prevent Duty

All schools have a duty to protect children from Radicalisation. Children can be exposed to different views and receive information from various sources.  Some of these views can be considered radical or extreme.  Radicalisation is the process through which a person comes to support or be involved in extremist ideologies.  As a school, we have a duty of care to protect our children.
