Our school policies have been designed to ensure that all adults at The Willows are working together to safeguard and promote the well being of all our young people and adults in school.  Our policy describe the systems and arrangements in place to create and maintain a safe learning environment.  It identifies any actions which should be taken to address any welfare concerns about young people and adults in school.  Please take the time to read through our policy.

Early Help Strategy

As part of our support for all children in school we have regular opportunities to consult with support services and health agencies through a multi-agency approach which sometimes includes completing the Early Help Form which supports families as well as pupils.  Our school nurse is John Feinburg.  John also works with our pupils on drugs education, sex and relationships and staying healthy.  Please see below for information about Early Help.  You can also contact your local Early Help Hub by telephoning:  234 1977

Internet Safety NSPCC

It can be hard to know how to talk to your child about online safety. From setting up parental controls to advice on sexting, online games and video apps, we can help you to understand the risks and keep your child safe. Follow the link below for further information:

If you require help or support please ask to speak with a member of our safeguarding team at the office.

If you have any worries about a child's safety or welfare, in the first instance speak to a Contact Officer at the Manchester Contact Centre on 0161 234 5001 or fax on 0161 255 8266. CFSC will then deal with your concerns.  If you think a child is at risk of immediate harm, please contact the police by calling 999. In addition, you can call the NSPCC Child Protection helpline on 0808 800 5000 to discuss your concerns.
