Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life.
Once registered, schools follow a simple seven-step process which helps them to address a variety of environmental themes, ranging from litter and waste to healthy living and biodiversity.

Our Eco Team are responsible for:
- making sure the corridors outside their classrooms are clean and tidy after registration, playtime and lunchtime
- Turning off the lights whenever the class leaves the classroom
Each class takes a turn for a week to:
- Use the litter picks to make sure our playground is clean, tidy and litter-free
- Do Jobs
- Make sure lights are turned off
- Recycle/empty paper bins
- Keep our corridors tidy
